Cayd Bader is the President and Founder of Berkshire Homes in Colorado. He has been building homes since his youth, learning the trade from his Grandfather in the Midwest. Cayd’s work includes an array of exceptional Custom Homes across the Front Range, each catered and shaped completely to their owners that occupy them.

Cayd believes every home he builds needs to incorporate elements that inspire individuals. “Our Homes are not just a place of utility, but rather a place of inspiration and sanctuary that speaks directly to the people who live there.”

Cayd and Berkshire Homes have won multiple industry awards, including the prestigious BAR “Custom Home of the Year” award. He was also recently selected to serve as a judge in the “MAME” awards for L.A. and San Francisco, California’s top honor in the housing industry.

Cindy Bader is co-founder of Berkshire Homes. Cindy continues to advance Berkshire Homes by contributing to many areas of the company including finance, design and operations. Cindy brings a unique design vision to the company always pushing design to be a little bit better.

Kim Layne, Berkshire Home’s in-house interior designer, has been designing high-end custom homes up and down the front range for the last ten years. She is a designer with not only an impeccable sense of style but a truly collaborative approach to design.

Kim believes that the best designs are achieved through a true appreciation for the life and dreams of the home owners. "It’s fun to speculate about what is in and out, but trends move so quickly,...and that is not a game you want to play with your home. I believe in using beautiful materials that fit your life. What is truly beautiful will always remain beautiful."

Kim Layne is here to take you through every step of the process and assist you with all of your design decisions. From creating kitchen designs to accompanying you on walkthroughs during key phases of construction, she will be with you at every turn. Kim is ASID certified.

Shane Hunt has been building with Berkshire Homes since 2006 as a Building Manager and brings over 13 years of building experience to the Berkshire Team. Shane has built multiple high-end Custom Homes and Models over the Front Range, and is proud to have built Berkshire Homes’ award winning 2006 Parade of Homes Model and 2006 BAR award’s “Custom Home of the Year”. He also had the honor of participating in the ‘Extreme Home Makeover’ show as a site manager for Arvada’s Homeless families, where the team had only 7 days to complete an entire duplex from start to finish.

Shane has a diverse knowledge in industry products and building methods, and seamlessly integrates his expertise into every home that he builds. You will find Shane working relentlessly at your site on a daily basis to ensure that your home is built to the most impeccable standards, and that your dream and vision is evident in every detail of your home.
